i want a puppy!

I have been on a kick since my puppy (not really a puppy) died about 3 years ago. WAIT 3 years already? well not quit 3 years yet.. but in the summer it will be. My sis and i wanted a dog so bad when we were younger and we promised that we would feed her, take care of her, let her out, take her for walks... well we all know when you're 10 years old that goes out the window fast. But my mom being a dog lover caved in. She always loved BIG dogs so we got a st.bernard puppy! We were so original at 10 and named her Beethoven. But she mostly went by Bay or Missy. anways..this is one of the ONLY pics i have with her on my comp:

Of course i would love to get another st.Bernard someday. I am trying to convince my mama to get one here soon, but shes out and about to much!

Every holiday i tell luke i want a puppy and every time he says "we will get one sometime" GRR i want one now! but i know its best to wait till luke and i have our own place. But the real question is what will we get? If we have a big place i wouldn't mind another st.bernard.. luke says no because they slobber to much :[ But im pretty sure it will be small so this is what im thinking:

How CUTE! Luke would object to all of these because he is afraid to step on them! Booo Someday we will get a pup and i cant wait :)

Wanted: Graduation Dress

I am in desperate need of a graduation dress! I have no appropriate dresses.. haha! I have the hardest time finding dresses that i actually like on me. They are super cute on tall skinny models... but not me. I have 4 weeks to find a cute dress on a budget. Thank god i have the outlets near by, but recently they have been letting me down. So i figure when all else fails i can ALWAYS find something at Kohls.. but i looked there last week and nothing jumped out...GRR. Kohls how can you fail me. So i did some online searching... id never buy online because 99% of the time i don't like it.. but here are some that i like (although not liking the price tag on a few):

The Bachelor Finale

NOOOO!!! Okay im going to be a little immature at first but i promise to finish up classy. I was very bummed that Jake picked Vienna! I loved Tenley and I feel bad for her. She was so positive, loving, and bubbly! She was beautiful! How could you ask for anything more? Now Vienna on the other hand came off trashy (long fake blond hair with a fake bake). She acted immature and could not get along with the other girls in the house. Now i know that you dont go to make friends but i believe how you are with others reflects who you will be with your future husband. My opinion was that Jake was more physically attracted to Vienna but yet more emotionally attracted to Tenley. Once again the guy goes with sex appeal and picks the "hot" chick. Tenley left the show very classy and she never said a mean word about Jake or Vienna and i truly admire her. Therefore if she could do it, then i guess i can too.

Honestly if Jake felt a connection with Vienna and they are truly happy.. then i am happy for them. Like i said before i believe that you can find your soulmate anywhere and not to roll anyone out a first glance or circumstance. I truly hope that they can make it work. They both seemed extremely happy on the after the rose ceremony. Best wishes to them both. Everyone deserves to love and be loved in return. I believe that everyone enters your life for a reason. I believe that Jake was put into Tenelys life to know that she can love again and that when she is ready, she will be able to love agian and i have no doubt that she will find her soulmate someday!

The new bachelorette is Alli! I am excited and i cant wait for the new season to start in May. Hopefully I will have enough time during student teaching to follow the show!

Tv Shows From When I Was Little :)

First off, I want to say i am in a MUCH better mood than before! Thank goodness. I got an 87 on my stat exam.. pretty good to me :) Also, we rocked our competition (1st place) and i did not drop at all :) If you want to check the video out look at my facebook. Although i did have fun, it was a long tiring day and i was glad to sleep in my bed!

Now, I should be studying for my 2 exams i have Tuesday and Wednesday I decided to write about my favorite TV shows from when i was little :)

1st up. Mystery files of Shelby Wool! How i loved this show. I remember watching it in my playroom with the lights off with my sis and sometimes my step brothers. I think I enjoyed the show so much because i have been convinced since i was 3 that i should be a detective. I wish this show was still on today... because i would still watch it!

Next, Are you afraid of the dark? I loved this show! A few years back i watched a few episodes are an Internet site. They seemed much scarier when i was little, yet again i would still watch it to this day!

Saved By the Bell. Okay so who didn't like this show? I thank my older sis for this one. I remember watching this all my life, and a few years back for Christmas my mom bought me seasons 1 and 2 i think. I am sad that the show is over, but it did last a long time :)

Finally, Boy Meets World. I picked this because i just recently watched an episode of this with my friend jam and it brought back memories of watching it all the time when i was younger. Who doesn't love Cory and Tapanga?

okay, back to studying history and philosophy of education. hmm maybe i could find some of these on you-tube instead ;)

Tyra Banks

I have been watching talk shows since i was 3. Okay maybe not 3, but for a long time. I do not know what drew me into them. I would watch Montel , Maury, Jerry Springer, Oprah, and many more. But eventually they all ended up being on the same few topics "Whos my baby daddy" or " 1 man 5 women, are you all these babies daddy". Okay have to admit once in awhile these are funny to watch. Love the ones when the women are 150% sure they know their baby daddy, and the test is "he is not the father". But every day all day? Whats this world coming to? Doesnt anyone know who the daddy to their baby is?

On to the a talk show that i actually ENJOY watching: Tyra Bank show! This has been by far my favorite talk show to watch. The topics are interesting, fun, unique. They can be anything from fashion to misconceptions about diversity, culture, and race. I feel that shes educated on her topics and is passionate about her show.

I recently heard sad news that this is the last season of the Tyra Show. Although she is no longer filming more shows, she will still be working on several projects. I am going to miss your show Tyra :(

New Purse

Okay so I do admit that I have a purse fetish. (I blame the older sis) For real, I love all kinds of purses and bags. (big, small, plain, flashy..etc) So believe it or not I have not bought a NEW purse since.....MAY! Yes that is 8 months... crazy I know! But the reasoning is I told myself that I was not going to buy a purse unless i was INLOVE and could not live without it.

The day came, Luke and I were at Kohls shopping around! Of course I tried on a ton of clothes and managed to find something wrong with everyone of them. So I made luke go to the purse section of the store. I was looking for something a little bit bigger and stylish. I like to carry my books for class in a cute bag instead of a backpack. I walked over to the Sienna Ricchi section. I have never heard of this brand but it caught my eye. After picking up THE purse and looking at the price tag, it felt like someone punched me in the tummy. But why is it so expensive.. i don't get it.. whats the big deal... I never even heard of this brand. But then I saw it... the SALE sign. yay! but only 30% off. UGH that would still make it ($50) and I DO NOT have $50 for a purse... so i sat it down and searched desperately for a purse that compared. But i had no such luck. Luke met back up with me and said "okay lets Go I have a game to watch". buttt luke I don't know what to do I love this purse but it so expensive" "then don't get it" he said. Well it wasn't that easy. So I thought and thought and said this is one of those times where I am going to be mad at myself and kicking myself for not getting this purse. So I decided to purchase it and luckily I had a $30 gift card only costing me $20 in the end. So in the end I believe that I found a great deal and a purse I cant live without! (I even got a compliment on it in the store yesterday)

Clothes that I love, but would probably never wear.

I have been in the shopping mood lately (how is that any different right?). But I have been having a problem the clothes that I look at and LOVE i no longer love once i put them on. I am sure there are several reasons why this occurs, I mean almost every girl loves an outfit on a mannequin more then herself right? So I am going to think positive and pick out some of my fav pieces of clothing from forever21 that I think I would ROCK!

Reasons why I love fall.

Fall is my favorite time of the year for several reasons.

First i love the leaves and the colors. There is just something amazing about how the leaves turns colors then fall off the trees. I could sit outside and look at the fall scenery for hours.



I love going to a pumpkin patch and finding pumpkins. One of the best parts is going on the hay ride to the patch. Although i have not done this in a very long time, its so much fun :) I also enjoy the corny but fun corn mazes!



I love drinking hot chocolate and I know this somewhat relates to winter, but i enjoy it a lot more during fall because i am not a fan of winter. I wish i could like apple cider, well i never tried it, so maybe i will this year. Maybe ill be able to add it to the list of reasons why i love fall!




I love fall for the cute sweaters, scarfs, and hats! i Like being able to bundle up but not be freezing my butt off! The wind and the smell of the air is great and i can never seem to get enough of it :)


Finally i love fall for football! This is true i do enjoy it, when i get to see it in person. I can thank luke for making me enjoy football more than before! But it is nice watching the games with luke (when its not 5 in a row on the couch). Lets go PSU & Steelers!





I love fall and i can't wait for it to be here! I just don't like how it is the shortest season of the year.
