Random Randomness

I am officially half way through my LAST week of regular classes ever... well until grad school in the future. I have 3 finals that i am not looking forward to at all.. but they are the last finals i will have to take for a VERY long time. I know i sound like a broken record but i can't wrap my head around the fact that come late august i wont be coming back to college... i don't think it will fully hit me until august... bittersweet. I am def going to miss all my friends that are graduating and moving on with their lives and my friends that are coming back to Slip next fall. I will def visit on the weekends! Because the chances of me having a full time teaching job....slim. haha But im okay with that for now.

Moving on, have i mentioned how much i hate Stat? Def was not pleased with my grade... i would have rocked it if i had time to finish. But apparently he was testing us on how fast we could do stat, not if we knew it. I REALLY hope i get to do a teacher evaluation on him! I feel as if this is students one and only way to get a little revenge on our sucky teachers. Not that the evals are probably even looked at and REALLY taken into consideration. But i will DEF have a book load of stuff to say and guess what im going to take all the time in the world writing it... because i can :)

This is my LAST late night shift working! YAY no more working till 130 am. Even though i get to complete a lot of homework and read and catch up on all your lovely blogs... ill enjoy not having to drag my self to work so late at night. Why is it though when im not working i can stay up for hours but the one late night a week i work... im exhausted!

I have been going to the gym for the past 2 weeks! I am impressed with myself i usually get on a kick for a week or 3 then... i get out of the routine. So hopefully i can keep this up once i get to NC. We'll see im going to be super busy! Luke's friend was able to burn p90x for me, so hopefully once i get all settled in to NC ill try and tackle that.. well see how it goes i heard its a tough one! Gotta thing skinny and hot in my wedding dress :)

I really want this weekend to be a good one! Luke's coming up so that will be great. My sis, and friend where thinking about Pittsburgh possibly... so we'll see. We are more than likely going to Pitt with my BFF from high school Saturday after graduation. I am so excited to see her (dawn) aka my wifey! I have not seen her in ages, so it will be nice catching up!

Is it me or did Heidi Montag (The hills) look a lot prettier before her 10 (yes TEN) plastic surgery procedures.. in one day?

Lets not forget she says she is not addicted. What type of message does this send to the young girls out there who may (but shouldn't) look up to her as a role model? That one can only be "perfect" if they looks like Barbie? You have to have the perfect face, hair, and body? In my opinion, Hedi was beautiful before all the plastic in her body!

studying hard... or hardly studying?

This weekend was zero fun. I have so much hw its unreal. A big stat test tomorrow morning .. which im studying hard for..kinda i just cant get in the groove. I bet i will soon..fingers crossed! I have another test on tuesday and a case court breif due Wednesday. Then finals week to follow! AHH im so not use to so many test! El ed classes are usually projects and presentations... i have not had this many exams in 2 weeks since freshman year! okay think positive.. almost done :] Next weekend will be filled with studying also... although lukey will be along for the ride. yay i bet hes thrilled!

i want a puppy!

I have been on a kick since my puppy (not really a puppy) died about 3 years ago. WAIT 3 years already? well not quit 3 years yet.. but in the summer it will be. My sis and i wanted a dog so bad when we were younger and we promised that we would feed her, take care of her, let her out, take her for walks... well we all know when you're 10 years old that goes out the window fast. But my mom being a dog lover caved in. She always loved BIG dogs so we got a st.bernard puppy! We were so original at 10 and named her Beethoven. But she mostly went by Bay or Missy. anways..this is one of the ONLY pics i have with her on my comp:

Of course i would love to get another st.Bernard someday. I am trying to convince my mama to get one here soon, but shes out and about to much!

Every holiday i tell luke i want a puppy and every time he says "we will get one sometime" GRR i want one now! but i know its best to wait till luke and i have our own place. But the real question is what will we get? If we have a big place i wouldn't mind another st.bernard.. luke says no because they slobber to much :[ But im pretty sure it will be small so this is what im thinking:

When people surprise me, a good night out with friends, seeing babes after weeks without seeing him, winning a surprise, and doing awesome on a test i studied hard for!

I wish i could be outdoorsy..and maybe someday i will be. But i love laying out at the beach getting an awesome tan by the beach.... that's outside :)

A million dollars... because i could have a nice house with extra to spend!

Weekend Recap :-]

Before we get to the weekend.. we have to talk about Monday night! Monday night was my bff 21st birthday! We went to Texas Road House for $.99 margaritas! They were soo delicious! We then headed to the local bar [Ghill] :) It was so much fun! It was monday night trivia and our team sucked! The questions were so hard! haha. Here are some pics:

This weekend was suppose to be dedicated to celebrating Kels 21st, unfortunately her dad had to have unexpected heart surgery. So she had to go home to be with him. (so far he is doing well).

Friday: I went shopping at the outlets in search of a graduation dress. I found one! I found it at Charlotte Russe. Here is a pic:

Friday night Jay, Luke, and I went to coney island for dinner and to watch the Pens game :] i love when they win because that makes babes a happy camper :)

Saturday: Luke, Jay, and our friend Alex decided to go shopping at Ross Park Mall. Its a very nice mall right outside of Pittsburgh. I bought dress capris and a dress shirt. Jay got a graduation dress! We spent hours walking around and shopping. Luke and i took a peak in Tiffany's. "I'll take one of everything please". Someday ill be able to afford to shop at this kind of mall :) haha. Then luke and i went to dinner at Applebees! Yumm!

Sunday: We relaxed and tried to burn P90x for myself.. but Luke and i could not figure out how to do that.. so not starting P90X.. yet. But i did go to the gym today! Luke headed off to Pitt to watch the pens game on the big screen outside and i canned for relay for life. Then i headed to work and completed A LOT of homework! yay. Sunday night is Arm Wives.. love this show!

Yes im going to complain.

Warning: if you don't want to hear (read) me complain.. then id skip over this post :)

1) I am OVER school. Well kinda, i am OVER taking classes that i have no interest in, but forced to take. For example: my math class reading a book called flatland. Its about a 2d world and the narrator is a square. It is so out there and unreal.. i have no idea what I'm reading and I'm going to have a final on it.. what fun .....not.

2) Why cant people be responsible... i mean we are adults right? its called growing up and not being little kids anymore.

3) I'm so tired of spending all of my free time on stat homework... its actually not free time because its devoted to doing stat... if i went to the gym as much as worked on stats.. i would have lost 20 lbs this semester.

4) Liars suck.

5) I just want it to be the weekend so i can celebrate my bffs 21st and see my fiance :)

6) i hate pop quizzes....

7) I want a job in a year. I am not even being picky and saying this september. Finding a teaching job in central pa.. is going to be no fun and stressful...ugh.

8) Im so sick and tired of not finding any clothes i like on me. I know if i went to the gym and lost 20 lbs this wouldn't be an issue.. this is my fault (i pretty sure im starting p90x next week: updates to come)

Okay i am done complaining.

Wanted: Graduation Dress

I am in desperate need of a graduation dress! I have no appropriate dresses.. haha! I have the hardest time finding dresses that i actually like on me. They are super cute on tall skinny models... but not me. I have 4 weeks to find a cute dress on a budget. Thank god i have the outlets near by, but recently they have been letting me down. So i figure when all else fails i can ALWAYS find something at Kohls.. but i looked there last week and nothing jumped out...GRR. Kohls how can you fail me. So i did some online searching... id never buy online because 99% of the time i don't like it.. but here are some that i like (although not liking the price tag on a few):

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELS :)

Today is one of my good friends from SRU birthday! She is finally 21 :) We have been waiting for this to happen f.o.r.e.v.e.r! Tonight we are celebrating by margarita happy hour at Texas Road House :) Then possibly going to the bar! Friday night she is having a PARTY at her apartment, then to the bar! And Saturday night is a night out in Pittsburgh! How awesome, i love week long celebrations! Looks like a great week and weekend (minus all of the school work i have to do between now and then).

Conference

Hello everyone :) Welp im here, good old Reading PA.. NOT. I am with an organization called PSEA. Every year there is a conference and schools from all over PA attend. We attend breakout sessions, teaching little ones, vote for positions, and much more (this is my first time attending, so im new at it). We had a 5.5 hr drive here.... on a school bus.. yes a school bus not a coach bus. Needless to say it was very uncomfortable and long! I also just got sick :( So when all i want is my comfy bed....i am stuck on a not so comfy hotel bed..yuck! Welp we have a busy 2 days ahead of us! Hope everyone has a great weekend! PSEA update possibly when i get back :)

Weekend Recap :-]

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Believe it or not this is my last weekend visit home from college!

Friday: We didn't get on the road to head home till late because Thursday night was crazyy ane Jay was a little under the weather. haha. But right when i got home Luke and his fam just started eating burgers from the grill :) YUMM! We spent rest of the night watching the movie 'Have you heard about the Morgans?'. It was a funny movie and we enjoyed it!

Saturday: We ate Easter dinner with my step-dads side of the family. We then stopped down to my dads to see him quickly. Then we headed out to see my cousin and her 5 month old baby girl- Delaney :) She is by the far the cutest baby i have ever seen! We took her to the park and i think we might of have had a LITTLE bit more fun than her. We swung on the swings, played 4 square, and tether ball! Boy do i miss being a kid. Eventually we had to leave Sarahs house and head back in town to meet luke's parents for dinner.. it was so hard because i never wanna leave! After a yummy dinner at a local sports bar it was time to color some Easter eggs! EVERY year my mama and sis and i color eggs :)

After coloring eggs, Luke, myself, and some friends headed to a local club to have a few drinks. Unfortunately i did not drink.. just couldn't after Thursday.. haha! After the club luke and i snuggled up and went to bed.. i cant wait to do this every night :)

Sunday: Lukes fam and my fam went to church :) How great to have everyone there together! The service was awesome! After the service luke went with his fam to eat at his aunts while my fam went out to eat :)


After dinner we met up and played some lawn golf :) What a great way to end a super fast weekend!

Are you a trust earner or giver?

My sis and i have been talking about trust a lot lately. I believe that trust is an extremely important part of a foundation to any type of relationship (bf/gf, friend, sibling, mother/daughter...etc). If a relationship lacks trust, there is no way it can last. I think that there are two ways to look at trust. Are you a trust earner or a trust giver? By this i mean:

Do you automatically trust someone till they give you a reason not to (giver) OR

Does someone have to earn you trust over a period of time (earner).

I think i am a skeptical trust giver and by this i mean that for the most part i give someone trust until they do something that takes that trust away. However i give it with some skeptiaclisim (is that a word?). I always have the thought in the back of my mind well they could do this or well i heard they are like that..... I like to think i am a realistic person... Luke says i am a pessimistic.. I just know how life is and people are and it is easier for me to have that doubt.

My theory is that i am a giver because i have not REALLY been hurt or betrayed. I mean i have had the friends who done the whole stab in the back type deal, but besides one small incident in my life, trust has not been hard to give. On the other hand, i feel as if people who have had their trust betrayed tend to be more of a earner. I think this is because they are scared about getting hurt again, and they can slim their chances of being hurt if someone has to earn the trust and it is not just given to them.

I think both types have their pros and cons.


Okay kinda random, but what are you a trust giver or trust earner?
