This morning when i came out of work this cute little note was on my car. It was in a plastic bag because of the rain! How cute! My Fiance is the cutest and he knows just how to make me smile :)

Lost for words rambles

Ive been at a lost for words. Hard to believe, i know. Not to much exciting has happened lately. I have been a working bee. I still do my before and after school program and TSS in the afternoon for my little buddy! (whos so cute and id scoop him up if i could).

Luke is looking at getting a new car. His old one is an FJ Cruiser... sweet but not practical. Its expensive and a gas hog. He has a WV Passat on hold at the dealer right now. So hopefully his payments will go down and we can start to save money for the wedding and future casa!

The wedding planning has crawled under the bed and died. I dont know what my issue is. Well okay i kinda do.. i cant make decisions. I am fully aware of my lack of decision making skills. I hate making choices because i am always afraid of making the wrong one or something better coming along. Therefore in the past 3 months all i have done was scratch people from the list and get info on the reception hall we are leaning towards. My goal: to book the reception hall within the next 2 weeks... (id say one, but i have to be realistic) and call the caterer. Those were my goals like a month ago.. but im gonna do it :)

Tonight our home town baseball team (curve) has a game. They made it to the playoffs and its my duty to go to the game enjoy a nice big fat burger and fries chill with fam and luke and watch the game!

I am sick and tired of not being able to taste and smell. And even more i am sick of snot running down my face with no warning (TMI). I think i should go to the doctor o wait i cant thats right i got kicked off the insurance thanks to my dad and stepmother.....thats a whole new rant and rave i could go into and ill save that for another day.

Enough is enough i cant ramble anymore.

Like I have previously mentioned.. The Tyra show is by far my favorite talk show! I recently watched a show about astrology. Apparently you can tell a lot about a person just simply by the structure of their face. Here are some examples i found interesting.

A chin dimple: Good in bed

High Wide forehead: Intellect, can hold intelligent conversations, understand you, quick

Wrinkles around the eyes: Good sense of humor

FIGHT HUNGER- FREE RICE!

Hey! I want to share a website that my student teaching adviser shared with me. It is a website that DONATES FREE RICE to hungry people! All you have to do is learn. You simply answer questions based on a subject (math, vocabulary, science, etc) Each question you get right they dontate 10 grains of rice through the world food programme! Dear brain, chill out at night!

Why is it as soon as i feel like i accomplish something (my portfolio) something else is just sitting there waiting for me (my POET presentation). I feel like i had 2 days of rest and relaxation before i have to start working on something else. Im not really stressed about it (yet).... but i have started it and last night i tossed and turned thinking about everything i have to do. I HATE when i dream about work/school... i just want relaxing dreams. Last night was anything but relaxing. I dreamed about working on my powerpoint, teaching, finding and creating lessons, my brain seriously worked so hard in my dream that when i woke up at 3 i was wide away because my brain would not stop running. So tonight i hope that i can have sweet and very relaxing dreams :)


Prayers and thoughts out to Luke's gram she is back in the hospital but fighting strongly!

First Award

"Your going places, baby" award!

So im pretty sure this is my first award (one that i saw anyways). Thanks to Katie @ Jersey Blonde for my first one! The rules are to say where you will be in 10 years and then pass it on to 10 people.

Okay 10 years ill be 32.... this is actually ironic i received this award today because i am going through some tough decisions right now about where i want to be in life. BUT im pretty sure i know where i could possibly be in 10 years. I think (hope) i will be a teacher, a wife and a mommy in my hometown (possibly). I will have 3 kiddies (2 boys and 1 girl). We will be living in a nice house with some great awesome friends! I want to travel to Mexico and other countries where there are orphanages and teach to those children. Thats my dream :)


So i pass this on to EVERYONE! because i donno if 10 people regularly read my blog! haha

1. If you could have one of Superman's, powers which one would you want? Superhuman strength..Flight..Superhuman speed..X-Ray vision..etc

I would say flight so that i could be all over the place
in a matter of minutes!

I honestly do not know if i ever won anything... but
someday i will something big...maybe the lotto ;)

I just did with my sis Ky we are bloggy friends too!

4. What is your favorite Summer month?

I would say August because that is when Lukas and I
go to the beach together.. but not this year :(

6. One of my favorite Summer memories is.....?

Def the beach with Lukey. But one of my favorite childhood memories would be church camp every summer. It was for a week! It was so much fun and i just recently joined the group on FB and it makes me miss it and i cant wait to make (yes make, they have no choice) my kiddies go there! hehe

8. Do you plan on or have you been watching the World Cup?

Nope.

1. Have you ever snooped around someone else's house?
Not someones house, that i can remember. Probably bedroom for sure. Then again i dont remember so i have no idea what i was looking for! haha

2. Can guys and girls be friends?
Yes they can, but however i think 9/10 times one of the two probably likes the other one slightly more than a friend. But it doesnt mean they cant override that feeling and just be friends.

3. Can you curl your tongue?
yupp sure can :)

4. Have you ever stolen anything?
I can honestly say i never have. I would feel so guilty!

5. Would you rather talk on the phone or text?
Both. It depends on the convo and where i am at and what i am doing. Sometimes texting is just more convenient, but hello people you know you can still call!

6. Memorial Day plans?
I will be laying on the beach all day! be jealous i know :) Today we did have a cook out outside our apartment! It was delicious and i am excited for tomorrow!!

7. What do you do to relax?
Go out and half a good time, or sometimes sleep!

8. Do you do anything to honor those that have died fighting for our freedom?
I usually do not.. but i really should.

The story behind this picture is pretty funny. This is Janelle, myself, and nick. Nick is a boy Janelle met at the very beginning of this year at SRU. We literally hung out with him every thursday (minus a few). Never on a friday, monday, or sunday...THURSDAY only! So one thursday we decided it was time to get a picture of him. So being sly (or trying to be) before i asked to get just a pic of them 2, i decided all 3 of us needed a pic together. This was the final product! haha Look how big he is.. (former PSU football player). Side note he so untagged himself from this pic on FB and i gave him a hard time about it forever! hahaha

Random Randomness

I am officially half way through my LAST week of regular classes ever... well until grad school in the future. I have 3 finals that i am not looking forward to at all.. but they are the last finals i will have to take for a VERY long time. I know i sound like a broken record but i can't wrap my head around the fact that come late august i wont be coming back to college... i don't think it will fully hit me until august... bittersweet. I am def going to miss all my friends that are graduating and moving on with their lives and my friends that are coming back to Slip next fall. I will def visit on the weekends! Because the chances of me having a full time teaching job....slim. haha But im okay with that for now.

Moving on, have i mentioned how much i hate Stat? Def was not pleased with my grade... i would have rocked it if i had time to finish. But apparently he was testing us on how fast we could do stat, not if we knew it. I REALLY hope i get to do a teacher evaluation on him! I feel as if this is students one and only way to get a little revenge on our sucky teachers. Not that the evals are probably even looked at and REALLY taken into consideration. But i will DEF have a book load of stuff to say and guess what im going to take all the time in the world writing it... because i can :)

This is my LAST late night shift working! YAY no more working till 130 am. Even though i get to complete a lot of homework and read and catch up on all your lovely blogs... ill enjoy not having to drag my self to work so late at night. Why is it though when im not working i can stay up for hours but the one late night a week i work... im exhausted!

I have been going to the gym for the past 2 weeks! I am impressed with myself i usually get on a kick for a week or 3 then... i get out of the routine. So hopefully i can keep this up once i get to NC. We'll see im going to be super busy! Luke's friend was able to burn p90x for me, so hopefully once i get all settled in to NC ill try and tackle that.. well see how it goes i heard its a tough one! Gotta thing skinny and hot in my wedding dress :)

I really want this weekend to be a good one! Luke's coming up so that will be great. My sis, and friend where thinking about Pittsburgh possibly... so we'll see. We are more than likely going to Pitt with my BFF from high school Saturday after graduation. I am so excited to see her (dawn) aka my wifey! I have not seen her in ages, so it will be nice catching up!

Is it me or did Heidi Montag (The hills) look a lot prettier before her 10 (yes TEN) plastic surgery procedures.. in one day?

4. fat injections in cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips
5. chin reduction

8. breast augmentation revision (to DDDs on her thin 5'5" frame)

Lets not forget she says she is not addicted. What type of message does this send to the young girls out there who may (but shouldn't) look up to her as a role model? That one can only be "perfect" if they looks like Barbie? You have to have the perfect face, hair, and body? In my opinion, Hedi was beautiful before all the plastic in her body!
